Social Sailing

What better way to spend an afternoon or evening than Sailing and relaxing on and around the mere. Social Sailing is a friendly informal occasion that caters for everyone, allowing time to potter, try out new boats, and to practise skills with the added comfort of Safety Cover. Club Boats, SUPs and Buoyancy Aids are available for use by Members and, depending on the event, both a Beachmaster and/or an RYA qualified mentor are on hand to provide advice and assistance.

All we ask is that you have fun, look after the boats and equipment and ensure that Club equipment is returned to the correct place when finished with. Any problems or breakages should be reported immediately to the Facilities Team, so that repairs can be put in place.

Afterwards, or before, why not enjoy a drink (tea, coffee, squash etc.) and/or a snack from the Galley; or something a little stronger from the Bar.
